Genevieve “Evie” Ernst, a second-grader from Minot Consolidated Schools, did some extra giving on Dec. 28. Evie, who has only had her hair trimmed three times in her life, donated a long blonde ponytail to the Locks of Love organization. Locks of Love is a nonprofit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children under age 18 suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis.
