NORWAY – The Norway Open Mic Night will celebrate its sixth year Friday, Jan. 25, at the First Universalist Church, 479 Main St. Sign-up for performers begins at 6:30, with the open mic beginning at 7 p.m.

Performers of all ages are encouraged to bring and share their acoustic instruments, music, dance, comedy and poetry in a relaxed atmosphere.

The open mic, always held the last Friday evening of each month, was founded in January 2002, by Vessel Recordings artist and host Heather Pierson. Everyone is welcome, and participation is not required.
