GLOSSARY

These legal terms are used: waived means the person charged gave up his right to appear in court; adjudicated means guilty of a civil violation; default means a person did not appear in court and the judge entered a guilty finding in the case; a finding of parole violation means a person violated a parole condition; filed means the case is to be dismissed at the end of filing period if conditions set are abided by. Court documents no longer reflect a person’s plea or their street addresses. The dates in the log are the dates of the original charge.

LEWISTON – The following cases were closed recently in 8th District Court:

Steven Cassidy, 38, Brunswick, violating a protective order on June 16, found guilty, sentenced to 120 days with all suspended and six months’ probation.

Kristen Castonguay, 22, Minot, violating condition of release on Nov. 14, found guilty, sentenced to two days.

Daniel R. Chabot Jr., 20, Lewiston, possession of liquor by a minor on Sept. 7, fined $200 by default.

Edward Chabot Jr., 34, Auburn, two counts of assault on June 8, first charge dismissed; found guilty on second charge, fined $300, sentenced to 180 days with all suspended and two years’ probation.

Chad Allen Chandler, 28, Greene, violating a protective order on Aug. 19 and violating condition of release on Nov. 16, found guilty on both charges, sentenced to 25 days on first charge; sentenced to 48 hours on second charge.

Kenneth M. Chase Jr., 20, Lisbon Falls, violating condition of release on May 12, found guilty, fined $200.

Christina M. Chase Swan, 20, Lewiston, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on Sept. 27, found guilty, sentenced to two days.

Shane M. Cheetham, 32, Leeds, operating under the influence, failing to notify of motor vehicle accident and failing to make oral or written accident report on Oct. 21, found guilty on all charges, fined $500 and license suspended 90 days on first charge; fined $75 with all suspended for each on second and third charges.

Terry W. Chesnel, 52, Lewiston, disorderly conduct on July 20, found guilty, fined $100.

Edris May Chouinard, 46, Lewiston, operating while license suspended or revoked, with prior, on Sept. 29, found guilty, fined $500.

Jennifer Churchill, 25, Lewiston, assault on June 28, dismissed.

Anthony Ray Clark, 23, Auburn, operating while license suspended or revoked on April 8, found guilty, fined $250.

Johnathan E. Clark, 22, Lewiston, sale and use of drug paraphernalia on Aug. 16, fined $300 by default.

Richard M. Clark, 21, Lewiston, consuming liquor by a minor on Sept. 8, fined $200 by default.

Erin M. Clarke, 31, Brooklyn, N.Y., operating without safety equipment on Sept. 1, offense committed, fined $100.

Jason C. Clifford, 24, Turner, operating under the influence on May 7, found guilty, fined $500, sentenced to two days and license suspended 90 days.

Joey D. Collins, 18, Greene, operating while license suspended or revoked on Oct. 21, found guilty, fined $250.

Scott L. Compeau, 39, Durham, cultivating marijuana on Aug. 28, found guilty, fined $400.

Roberto D. Continat, 21, Auburn, operating while license suspended or revoked, with prior, and failure to provide correct name, address and/or date of birth on July 15, found guilty on first charge, sentenced to three days; second charge dismissed; also charged with possession of liquor by a minor on Sept. 15, fined $200 by default.

Roy B. Cormier Jr., 21, Gardiner, possession of liquor by a minor on Oct. 10, fined $200 by default.

Melissa J. Costello, 22, Lewiston, operating while license suspended or revoked, with prior, and unlawful use of license on July 7, found guilty on both charges, fined $500 on first charge; fined $100 on second charge.

Tammy C. Cote Sears, 32, Windham, permitting unlawful use and operating while license suspended or revoked, with prior, on Jan. 16, found guilty on first charge, fined $100; second charge dismissed.

Brian Cottrill, 27, Auburn, assault on Aug. 4, found guilty, fined $300.

Thomas J. Coty, 25, Lewiston, assault on June 21, assault and violating condition of release on June 27 and violating condition of release on June 28, first and second charges dismissed; found guilty on third and fourth charges, sentenced to 30 days for each charge.

Scott Coulombe, 33, Auburn, operating and/or permitting operation of an unregistered motorboat on Aug. 26, found guilty, fined $100.

Matthew Cournoyer, 19, Lewiston, operating while license suspended or revoked on Sept. 11, found guilty, fined $250.

Lindsey Couture, 22, Lewiston, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on Oct. 2, found guilty, fined $100.

Craig M. Cowper, 29, Lewiston, fugitive from justice on Oct. 18, dismissed.

Keith E. Cox, 18, Lewiston, operating under the influence on Sept. 30, found guilty, fined $500 and license suspended 90 days.

Keithem E. Cox, 18, Wilton, possession of liquor by a minor on Sept. 30, dismissed.

Julie L. Crowley, 22, Lewiston, operating while license suspended or revoked on May 5, found guilty, fined $750, sentenced to 10 days and license suspended six months.

Melanie Dawn Currier, 32, Auburn, terrorizing on Aug. 30, found guilty, sentenced to 48 hours.

Laurier J. Cusson, 61, Lewiston, criminal trespass on Oct. 6 and refusing to submit to arrest or detention on Oct. 5, found guilty on both charges, fined $75 on first charge; fined $100 on second charge.

Amber M. Cyr, 19, Rumford, operating while license suspended or revoked on July 5, found guilty, fined $250.

James E. Cyr, 21, Greene, violating condition of release on May 2, found guilty, sentenced to two days.

Keith Cyr, 41, Lisbon Falls, criminal speed on June 12, dismissed.

Jon D’Andrea, 32, Livermore Falls, burning without a permit on April 1, found guilty, sentenced to 24 hours.

Jason M. Daigneault, 26, Lisbon Falls, operating while license suspended or revoked, with prior, on May 21, found guilty, fined $600.

Bryan J. Daniels, 20, Auburn, possession of liquor by a minor on Aug. 25, offense committed, fined $200.

Jeffrey A. Darling, 28, Georgetown, failing to stop an all terrain vehicle, operating an ATV on a public way and operating an unregistered ATV on Sept. 5, found guilty on first charge, fined $1,000 with $800 suspended; offense committed on second and third charges, fined $100 for each charge.

Jeff Anthony Davis, 31, Lewiston, operating a vehicle without a license and operating after registration suspended on Aug. 1, found guilty on both charges, fined $150 for each charge.
