NEWRY – “Cardiovascular Disease: a Case for Action” is the topic of the fifth annual Cardiovascular Winter Symposium set for Friday through Sunday, Feb. 1 to 3, at the Grand Summit Resort Hotel and Conference Center at Sunday River.

Sponsored by Central Maine Medical Center’s Office of Continuing Medical Education and the Central Maine Heart and Vascular Institute, the symposium will feature cardiovascular case study reviews and evidence-based clinical evaluation and management strategies.

The event is for physicians, resident physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, allied personnel and others interested in learning about advances in the evaluation and management of cardiovascular disease.

Specialty educational credits will be awarded for sessions attended.
