PARIS – Patricia Probert Gott, whose life adventures have taken her to four continents, 10 countries and 47 states, will be at the Paris Public Library from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2. She will speak about her writing experiences as well as finding a publisher and marketing her books.

A retired businesswoman who resides in Paris, Gott is also an accomplished equestrienne who owns and trains horses.

She has written five books, self-publishing three. “So You Wanna be a Cowgirl” is based on her adventures being a horse wrangler and trail guide for three summers in Cody, Wyo.; the sequel, “Cowgirl Days,” is in production.

“Metamorphosis: My Journey of Growth and Change” is Gott’s 188-page personal biography; “Volunteer to Empower” tells of her adventures while volunteering for Cross Cultural Solutions in Tanzania, Africa; and “Ancient Egypt & the Nile” relates her recent travels in Egypt from visiting the Great Pyramids and the Sphinx to racing Arabian horses in the Sahara Desert. She sailed down the Nile and went hot-air ballooning over the West Bank near the Valley of the Kings and Queens.
