The bloody sky hopscotched over the pearly blanket beneath, while a majestic colored flame peaked out of the cascading hills below, lighting the fluffs of sheep below into a misty glow. Birds danced with urgency as the worms poked out of the dewy ground f or their last breath of air, before their long journey to the Earth’s core. Trees trembled with cold releasing a cloud of golden leaves that cascaded through the air like surfers.
The air was a f fierce warning from the gods above warning of the unpredictable weather of the days to come. Dew turned to ice as slow and careful as a turtle. The time had come to stay indoors, but not before I watched the rest of the leaves fall one by one losing all memory of the warmer weather that occurred just months ago. But now I just want to watch the rest of the sunset.
The sun was now completely hidden behind the blanket of night, replaced by the stunning snowball that was crawling into the sky. It had rings of beauty encasing it like a picture, that glowed with pride in what it held. The moon was always there no matter what temperature it was or how dramatic the day was, and it brought comfort to all who needed something to comfort them. Now that I had watched the moon roll into the sky, I knew it was safe to sleep and dream in peace. (Indoors of course!)
