AUBURN – Weekly Saturday night professional comedy will continue at The Fireside Inn & Suites (formerly the Auburn Inn) Saturday, Feb. 2, with a show featuring Stephen Bjork, Brian Joyce and Joe Espinola, aka Joe Espi.

One of the funniest observational humorists in Boston, Bjork has gone cross-country as a headliner, performing at clubs such as The Improv in Las Vegas, Mohegan Sun in Connecticut, Hilarities in Orlando, Fla., and Crackers in Indianapolis, Ind. He has shared the stage with Dane Cook, Steven Wright, Dom Irrerra, Dave Chappelle, Gilbert Gottfried, Joe Rogan, Dana Gould and Tommy Chong. He once opened for the legendary musical group The Platters. In recent years, he has focused on spending more time in New England, working clubs, fundraisers and private shows for corporations.

Joyce has performed all over the world. He was one of only four Americans invited to perform at the 2006 Comedy on Tap Festival in Ireland, along with Emo Phillips, Arj Barker and four-time Perrier Award nominee Reginald D. Hunter. He has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the Galway Comedy Festival, the Boston Comedy Festival and the Bulmer’s International Comedy Festival in Dublin, Ireland. In June 2006, he made his first television appearance for RTE Television in Ireland. A Boston resident, his hobbies include classic American cars, complaining and meeting beautiful women.

Espinola will be host for the show presented by Laughing Matters Comedy. A hot new comedian on the Boston stand-up scene, he performs at comedy clubs, private shows and fundraisers around New England. He is a regular at Boston’s Comedy Connection and has performed with top headliners, including Mike McDonald, Steve Sweeney, Kevin Knox, Ken Rogerson, Dave Rattigan and Joe Yannetty.
