PARIS – A winter get-together to learn about the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life will take place from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30, at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School.

Last year the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life in Oxford Hills raised close to $61,000 toward the fight against cancer. Team organizers hope to make the 2008 event, which will take place May 30 and 31, even bigger.

Registration materials (team captain packets) will be available at the meeting. Previous team captains may obtain materials in advance by calling Shelly Everett at 461-4249. All team captains present at the rally will receive a Relay For Life 2008 calendar.

They are invited to preview the fundraising Web site for the team, family and friend at http://main.acsevents.org/rflmeoxfordhills.

For more information, call Shelly Everett at 461-4249 or e-mail Heather Hanson at [email protected].
