FARMINGTON – For the first time, the Mt. Blue Curtain Raisers Improv Comedy Troupe will storm the automatic doors of Franklin Memorial Hospital with its new show “Biohazard” Friday, Feb. 8.

At a Curtain Raisers show, the possibilities are endless. Building on suggestions from the audience, no one ever knows exactly what is going to happen – including the actors. Some liken it to a mix of “Whose Line Is It Anyway,” “Saturday Night Live,” “MadTV” and that weird uncle who shows up only at the holidays.

“Biohazard” features a number of games from past Curtain Raisers performances, including the time-traveling misadventures of “Bartleby & Juniper,” and the heavenly pleadings of “St. Peter’s Gates.” New to this performance will be the Curtain Raisers’ newly developed game, “Early Exposure,” an improvised look at the lighter side of investigative journalism.

The Feb. 8 show will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the G.H. Bass room.

As always, all funds accepted at Curtain Raisers shows go to support an annual trip to perform at ImprovBoston in Cambridge, Mass. Suggested donation at the door: $3.
