BRIDGTON – Aisling Shepherd of Norway, a musher who competes with the International Sled Dog Racing Association, finished third in the Junior 3 Dog Speed class at the Mushers Bowl-Bridgton Sled race Sunday.
Shepherd finishe d the 8.4-mile course in a total time of 44 minutes, 22 seconds.
The Mushers Bowl was sanctioned by the ISDRA and counts toward the International Championship Series for Sled Dog Racing. It was hosted by the Down East Sled Dog Club. Shepherd is sponsored by Journey’s End Pet Crematorium.
