Ash Wednesday

WILTON – There will be an Ash Wednesday service at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, at the Wilton Congregational Church, 386 Main St. The service will include hymns, readings from Scripture, a litany prayer and opportunity for the imposition of ashes. Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent. The service is open to the public, and all are welcome.

Auditions set

FARMINGTON – Auditions for the Sandy River Players production of “The Importance of Being Earnest” by Oscar Wilde will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, in Nordica Hall, UMF campus.
