PARIS – The Western Maine Art Group’s mid-winter members’ art sale opened Feb. 1 and continues through the end of March at the McLaughlin Garden.

The show features work representing a range of styles from realism to abstract, in genres including oil, water-color, pencil, pen and ink, multimixed-media, photography and affordable archival quality prints. The art will hang in the parlor next to the gift shop in the historic house of the garden center.

“The McLaughlin Garden sets the bar for encouraging the arts, promoting artists and nurturing the creative economy in the Oxford Hills. We are extremely happy to be collaborating again, to provide these cultural opportunities for our local artists and the community at large,” said WMAG Executive Director Aranka Matolcsy.

WMAG members who will be exhibiting include Emmy Andersson of East Poland, Joan Bellucci of Poland, Joanna Reese of Sumner, Heather Westleigh and Ellen O’Neill of Bridgton, Janis Hutchins of Paris, Barbara Traficonte, of Waterford, Ben Tucker of Norway, and Duncan Slade, Sue West and Frost Farm Gallery of Norway.

McLaughlin Garden is at 97 Main St.
