Roy Andrews, president of Fryeburg Fair, accepted a plaque honoring the fair for its $25,000 contribution to Union Fair after the devastation caused by the 2007 Patriot’s Day storm. Presenting the award at the Maine Association of Agricultural Fairs awards banquet is association Director and Union Fair President Barry Norris. Fryeburg, the last of Maine’s 26 fairs, will run from Sept. 28 to Oct. 5.
