Global warming. Some say it’s a threat to our environment, and some think “no biggie.” It’s here we have a debate.
Global warming as a threat – melting ice. Some say OK, the Earth has been warming, but what does that have to do with us?
Global warming has an effect. This point of view is that it’s a threat to society. But how? There is melting ice. Some baby walruses were found in the Atlantic Ocean, far from shore. That isn’t normal. Experts say they were stranded because of melting ice. What’s worse is that they were not with their parents. That is bad.
Global warming. Pshaw! Why worry about it? NASA researched it, and it doesn’t think it’s a threat, so, why worry when it isn’t? It’s “no biggie.”
Do you want to know my opinion of global warming? Like it or not, I’m telling you. I think global warming isn’t too big of a threat. It’s not like there’s going to be a “worst- case scenario” like in the movie “The Day After Tomorrow.”
Yeah, the temperature has been warming, but big deal.
