BOSTON – Colin Wilson scored twice, including the game-winner with 3:19 left on Monday night as Boston University scored three consecutive times to rally from a two-goal deficit and beat Northeastern 5-4 in the Beanpot consolation game.

Adam Kraus stopped 25 shots for the Terriers, who missed the Beanpot final for just the second time since 1983. BU (10-14-4) had won the tournament 11 of the last 13 years; Northeastern hasn’t won the region’s college hockey bragging rights since 1988.

Harvard played Boston College in the championship.

Brad Thiessen made 40 saves for Northeastern (13-10-3).

It was 1-1 in the early game after one period when BU took a 2-1 lead on Nick Bonino’s goal at the 5:30 mark of the second. Joe Vitale tied it 97 seconds later, and the Huskies took the lead 26 seconds after that on the first of two straight goals by Ryan Ginand.

But Wilson cut the deficit to 4-3 with 6:01 left in the second. Then, after Matt Gilroy tied it midway through the third, Wilson gave the Terriers the victory.
