WOODLAND – Maine State Police are investigating the death of a 56-year-old sawmill owner in the northern Maine town of Woodland.
Darrell Smith was found inside a workshop next to his home last Wednesday.
Police are calling the death suspicious, but they don’t have enough information to determine the nature of Smith’s death.
Police say the victim’s wallet has not been located and that a safe may have been taken from his home.
Investigators are now asking for help from anybody with more information.
