TURNER – The wedding of Lisa Legendre and Mark John Ballard was held at 11:30 a.m., Aug. 18, at the Great Outdoors in Turner. Family friend and notary public, Roland Bonneau, officiated at the ceremony. The couple was engaged Dec. 16, 2006 on the ice at a Maineiacs game while playing “Deal or No Deal.”

Mrs. Ballard is the daughter of Richard and Joan Legendre of Lewiston. Mr. Ballard is the son of Stacy and Sandra Ballard of Mechanic Falls.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents. Bridesmaids were Kathleen Bianco and Rachel Legendre, sisters of the bride, and Claudia Mercier, aunt of the bridegroom.

Ushers were Mike Ballard, brother of the bridegroom, Dan Mercier, friend of the bridegroom and Jim Archer, brother-in-law of the bridegroom.

A reception followed at the Great Outdoors in Turner, with a gathering after the reception at the home of Mike and Ronda Ballard. The couple honeymooned in Cancun, Mexico, in October.

The bride is a 1996 graduate of Lewiston High School and a 2005 graduate of the University of Southern Maine, L-A College. She is employed as human resource manager at Bisson Transportation Inc. in West Bath.

The bridegroom is a 1990 graduate of Edward Little High School and attended the University of Maine at Orono while playing baseball. He is employed by the store fulfillment/warehouse at L.L. Bean in Freeport.
