AUBURN – During the month of March, Mary Ukelady Hargreaves will present “Little Pony Express,” a live musical program she designed, on “Mainely Musicians,” a monthly show that she hosts on Great Falls Community TV.

She created the program to instill family values in a fun way through her songs, to teach children the songwriting process and to introduce the history of the ukulele.

Hargreaves plans to continue her project in local elementary schools, libraries, museums and festivals, adding a workshop in which children can write a song with her.

“Mainely Musicians” is a program produced by Brian Soucy at GFTV, located on the Central Maine Community College campus in Auburn. It highlights Maine singer-songwriters of all genres and can be viewed on Channel 22 on Time Warner and on Channel 3 on Oxford Networks – reaching Lewiston, Auburn, Lisbon, Lisbon Falls, Sabattus and Mechanic Falls. It broadcasts at 2 a.m. and 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

It also can be viewed online at www.banddmusicservice.com. Scroll down to “Mainely Musicians” where you can watch videos of new aspiring talents as well as seasoned musicians as guests on the show.
