LEWISTON – The wedding of Angela Marie Willer and John Lawrence Olsen III was held at 4:30 p.m., Sept. 28, at Holy Family Church in Lewiston. The Rev. Nathan March officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Olsen is the daughter of Bob and Monique Willer of Lewiston. Mr. Olsen is the son of John Jr. and Patty Olsen of Kittery.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white Italian satin strapless gown with a corset back that flowed into a semi-cathedral train. Her veil was trimmed with silver bugle beads that matched her gown. She carried a hand-held bouquet of white Gerber daisies, white lilies, wine roses and greens with the stems wrapped in a white soft satin.

Vicki-Rose Siegel, college friend, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Lori Parker, Emma Root, Robyn Jackson, Melissa Bragan and Kristen Ostrowski, all friends of the bride. Junior bridesmaids were Taylor and Tory McDermott, friends of the couple. Flower girl was Sydney Olsen, cousin of the bridegroom.

Eric Lemont, friend of the bridegroom, was best man. Groomsmen were Brian Willer, brother of the bride, Chris Olsen, brother of the bridegroom, Marc Olsen, uncle of the bridegroom, and Matt Pitzer and Jason Shetenhelm, friends of the bridegroom. Ring bearer was Grady Jackson, friend of the couple.

Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Robert Parent and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Willer of Maine, and Alice Olsen of Massachusetts.

A reception was held at the Hilton Garden Inn in Auburn, after which the couple traveled on a 10-day Hawaiian cruise. They are residing at their new home in Westbrook.

The bride is a 2000 graduate of Lewiston High School and a 2005 graduate of the University of Southern Maine with a bachelor’s degree in industrial technology, with a concentration in information and communications technology and a minor in management information systems. She is currently employed at MEMIC as the IS liaison in Portland. She also owns her own business as a family/wedding photographer as Angela Olsen Photography.

The bridegroom is a 2001 graduate of Traip Academy and a 2005 graduate of the University of Southern Maine with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and minors in recreation leadership and educational studies. He is currently enrolled in the master of accounting program at the University of Southern Maine. He is employed at Woodford’s Family Services as the accounts payable/payroll coordinator in Westbrook.
