AUBURN – Past and present Edward Little High School racers and other local skiers are invited to a day of fun at the 13th annual Tom Magno Memorial Race on Saturday, March 1, at Lost Valley.

The Auburn Ski Association hosts the event and the proceeds will benefit the Ben Hayes Support Fund, established to assist Ben Hayes with medical care and equipment needed as the result of the severe spinal cord injury he suffered in a December 2007 accident.

Family, friends and teammates of two former Edward Little skiers, the late Tom Magno (’67) and Ben Hayes (’96), will join for a day of family fun. All ages are welcome to participate in the race.

Registration will begin at 9 a.m. and the race, consisting of two timed runs, will start at 10:30 a.m. The $15 race fee includes a ski lift ticket and prizes for the winners. For more information, visit www.supporthayes.com.
