Council to install
LEWISTON – Members of Twin City Council 160, United Commercial Travelers of America, will hold a dinner meeting at 5 p.m. Saturday, March 8, at Marco’s Restaurant. Installation of officers will be held.

Grange to meet
POLAND – Members of Androscoggin Pomona Grange will meet for a 6:30 p.m. supper on Wednesday, March 5, at Excelsior Grange. At the last meeting it was voted to return to the original time of 6:30 for supper, with a 7:30 meeting time.
The program will be presented by the Youth and Junior Committees. A 50/50 raffle and an attendance drawing will be held. All members and guests are welcome.
Charity tourney
AUBURN – A Charity Texas Hold’em Tournament will be held at 10 a.m. Sunday, March 30, at the New Auburn Social Club. Doors will open at 9.
Cost is $80 a person and only the first 100 players will be accepted. A $40 deposit will guarantee a seat.
A pasta dinner will be offered for $12 a person. Those who reserve seats by Monday, March 17, will pay $7 for lunch. Call 782-9039 for details.
Funds will go to the Androscoggin County Boys and Girls Club and Edward Little High School scholarship fund.
Bridge results
LEWISTON – The Lewiston- Auburn Bridge Club winners at the Multi-Purpose Center on Feb. 26 were: first, Jan and Vern Arey; second, Luke Merry and David Lock; third, Donna Bartlett and Sue Kaluzynski.
Winners at Schooner Estates on Feb. 27 were: first, Larry Fortier and Rosemarie Goodwin; second, Luke Merry and Paul Barber.
Games are played at 9 a.m. every Monday and Tuesday and at 6:30 p.m. every Wednesday, and a partner is guaranteed. Call Rosemarie at 754-1431 for information about all duplicate bridge games.
