AUBURN – Bob Niles, a comedian who headlines all over New England, will appear at the Saturday, March 1, Comedy Night at The Fireside Inn & Suites.

Niles performs at comedy clubs, Elks clubs, Lions clubs, country clubs, Rotary clubs – and just regular traffic rotaries. A man who’s led an unorthodox life, Niles was just 20 years old when his first child was born. His second child arrived when he was 46. What happened in between comes under scrutiny in his comedy acts.

Appearing with Niles will be Jerry Thornton and Dan Gill. Thornton is a New England comedy veteran who once won the Boston Comedy Riot and who also writes for the satirical Web site Bar Stool Sports (www.barstoolsports.com).

Dill is a returnee to the comedy scene who formerly performed as the opening act for Louis C.K.

Showtime is 8 p.m. Tickets are $14, $12 with a reservation. For tickets, call 777-1777, or check www.laughingmatterscomedy.com. The Fireside Inn & Suites is at 1777 Washington St., just off the Maine Turnpike at Exit 75.

The show is part of a winter series of Saturday night shows presented by Laughing Matters Comedy. The series takes a break March 8, returning March 15 with another show featuring a Boston comic.
