LIVERMORE FALLS – The Livermore Falls-Jay Senior Citizens met at Murray Hall on Feb. 25 with 34 members and a guest present.

Chairwoman Shirley Couture opened the meeting with a prayer, salute to the flag and a moment of silence for departed members and the men and women in the armed forces. Reported on the sick list were Dora Slovak, Lucille Frechette and Gene Roy.

At the Monday, March 17, meeting, members are being asked to bring finger food, as the last such lunch was successful.

Members sang “Happy Birthday” to all those celebrating their birthdays in February, then had cookies and ice cream. Celebrating birthdays were Cecile Hathaway, Gloria Bickford, Gail LaChance, Gene Pomerleau, William Chabot and Jeannette Buck.

The 50-50 was won by Ellie Mitchell. Following the meeting, a scotch auction was held, which netted $50.
