JAY, Vt. (AP) – Police say four University of Vermont students and a bus driver received minor injuries Sunday morning when the bus they were in rolled over near the Jay Peak Ski Resort.

Vermont State Police Sergeant Larry Smith says the bus wasn’t moving fast when the bus rolled over.

Smith says the injuries probably occurred when the students were thrown from one side of the bus to the other.

Police say there were 22 students were on the bus.

Jay Peak President Bill Stenger says the ski patrol staff helped evaluate the students’ injuries.

Stenger says most of the students end up spending the day ski, just like they had intended.
