A snowy beginning to March bumped two annual town meetings back a week.

Meetings in Lovell and Stoneham, originally scheduled for last Saturday, will take place this Saturday, March 8. The Lovell meeting will be held at 9 a.m. at the town hall, while Stoneham’s meeting will take place at 10 a.m. at the fire station.

Lovell voters will decide on 98 articles and take nominations from the floor to elect a selectman, town clerk and building inspector, as well as members of the Planning Board, Budget Committee and SAD 72 board. Voters may also make recommendations for a code enforcement officer.

Articles on the warrant include allocating money toward $135,000 needed to replace the Cushman Pond dam, a 3 percent pay raise for municipal officials, and five amendments to the town’s zoning ordinance.

Stoneham’s warrant consists of 61 articles. Nominations will be taken from the floor for several municipal positions, including a selectman and fire chief.
