Sen. Bruce Bryant, D-Dixfield, and Rep. Sheryl Briggs, D-Mexico, recently presented a legislative sentiment to Kayla Provencher of Dixfield, who has been selected to participate as a member of the U.S. Junior Karate Team in the Goodwill Games in Japan this month. Provencher has been a student of karate since age 4 and is a student at the Dirigo Middle School. Bryant and Briggs presented the sentiment at a grange fundraising supper in Peru.
