SALEM – A St. Patrick’s Day supper will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, March 15, at the Mt. Abram High School cafeteria. The corned beef dinner with veggies and dessert will benefit the Salem Fire Department Auxiliary.
Cost is adults, $5; seniors, $4; kids 12 and under, $3; 5 and under, free; family rate, $10. Music to follow will be provided by A+E Hill Country.
A+E Hill Country Music will return at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, March 16, to the Salem Community Building for a March show (weather permitting).
A donation box will be at the door and refreshments will be on sale. This event is sponsored by the Salem Pine Tree Club.
Church luncheon
FARMINGTON – Old South First Congregational Church will serve its monthly free community luncheon from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 8. The menu will include ham with scalloped potatoes, green beans, rolls and butter, and apple crisp.
Delivery service will be available in the area. Call the church office at 778-0424 during the week or the church kitchen at 778-4438 on the morning of the luncheon for delivery.
Concert set for pantry
WILTON – A concert to benefit the Wilton Food Pantry will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 9, at the Wilton Congregational Church, 386 Main St.
It will feature the Franklin County Fiddlers, middle school show choir, Mt. Blue Voices and other SAD 9 music groups
Admission will be by donation and all donations will benefit the Wilton Food Pantry.
