AUBURN – Custom Metal Fabrication blanked regular-season champion Play It Again Sports, 3-0, to get a leg up in its bracket of the L/A Senior Hockey League men’s divisional playoffs.
In the other Bracket I matchup, Taylor Brook Dental dispatched Radio City, 6-2.
Aggreko and River Ratts opened Bracket II competition with wins. Ratts rattled B&B Catering, 4-3, while Aggreko sytmied Budget Document Technology, 4-1.
Each team plays a round robin against the other teams in its bracket, with the two bracket winners colliding in the championhip game March 15. As the schedule works out, the unbeaten teams will confront each other this weekend.
