Benefit concert

WILTON – A concert to benefit the Wilton Food Pantry will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 9, at the Wilton Congregational Church, 386 Main St.

It will feature the Franklin County Fiddlers, middle school show choir, Mt. Blue Voices and other SAD 9 music groups

Admission will be by donation and all donations will benefit the Wilton Food Pantry.

No Easter hunt

FARMINGTON – The Farmington Fire Rescue Benevolent Association has announced that there will be no Easter Egg hunt this year. After due consideration, with the excessive amounts of snow/ice and the safety concern for all participants, the hunt has been canceled.

Need bowlers

WILTON – The Child Health Center is gearing up for the 2008 Bowl for Kids’ Sake Event, an annual event that supports their Big Brothers Big Sisters mentoring programs. The even will be held at Meadow Lanes on Saturday, April 5.

To participate, form a team of four, call the Child Heath Center’s Big Brothers Big Sisters at 782-5437 to reserve a lane and receive team packets. Teams should raise a minimum of $35 in sponsorship per bowler.

All proceeds from Bowl For Kids’ Sake will support the school and community-based matches.
