PARIS – The Maine Public Broadcasting Network will host a gathering for public input Tuesday as part of a series of town meeting forums.

The event will take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the Bennett Room of the Western Maine University and Community College Center.

“We want to be sure that in five years MPBN remains as relevant to the lives of Maine people as it is today, ideally even more so,” stated MPBN president and CEO Jim Dowe. “These meetings offer the public a chance to tell us what they’re going to want from MPBN in the future and to assist us in mapping out a clear, effective strategy to help us deliver it.”

According to a news release, the network will use the input from the meetings to help allocate its resources in the most efficient manner.

People who cannot make the meeting but wish to make comments may do so by filling out a survey at www.mpbn.net/survey.
