MILWAUKEE – The Boston Celtics managed an easy victory without one of their three stars Saturday night, beating the Milwaukee Bucks 99-77 as injured guard Ray Allen sat in a suit at the end of the bench.

Even with Allen out of action because of a bruised left heel, the Celtics had no problem rebounding from their home loss to Utah on Friday. Kevin Garnett scored 19 to lead Boston, and Eddie House added 17 – all but two of which came in the second half as the Celtics emptied their bench.

Before Saturday’s game, Celtics coach Doc Rivers said Allen might be able to play again as early as Monday.

And the Celtics will need him, as the rest of their current five-game road trip sends them to San Antonio, Houston, Dallas and New Orleans.

76ers 103, Spurs 96

PHILADELPHIA – Andre Miller scored a season-high 32 points and Andre Iguodala had 25 to lead the Philadelphia 76ers to their third straight sparkling victory, 103-96 over the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday night.

The Sixers already knocked off Detroit and Chicago on the road this week and returned home to another suddenly supportive crowd. Philly (33-34) gave the faithful a reason to cheer from the opening tip, pressuring the Spurs into turnovers and turning back a late run by the champs.

The Sixers are on track for their first playoff berth since 2005 and moved within a game of .500 for the first time since they were 2-3 on Nov. 9. That spiraled into a 5-13 start, but Philadelphia is 17-6 since Jan. 26 and has won nine of its last 10 at home.

Wizards 119, Clippers 109, OT

WASHINGTON – Antawn Jamison scored 36 points, including three key free throws to send the game into overtime, and Washington beat Los Angeles.

Magic 122, Pacers 111

ORLANDO, Fla. – Hedo Turkoglu scored 27 points, including nine in the final five minutes to help Orlando pull away from Indiana and clinch a playoff berth.

Rashard Lewis added 22 points for Orlando, which has won seven of eight.

Nets 117, Jazz 115

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Richard Jefferson made a running jumper with 1.5 seconds remaining to give New Jersey a victory over Utah.

JCarlos Boozer equaled his career high with 41 points for Utah.

He had a remarkably precise game, shooting 15-of-19 from the field and 11-of-13 from the free throw line. Reserve Kyle Korver added 18 points for the Jazz.

Caron Butler had 16 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists.
