Seniors to meet
PARIS – The Lake Thompson Senior Citizens will meet, weather permitting, at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 20, at Market Square Restaurant. Dinner will be chosen from the menu. Each member is asked to bring an item for a game of bingo. All are welcome.
Gathering Place
BRIDGTON – The Gathering Place at the Bridgton Community Center, 15 Depot St., is an adult peer support group for people with mental illness.
Those attending gather to talk, share, learn and have fun along the way. They meet in a friendly and supportive atmosphere from noon to 3 p.m. every Thursday. Transportation may be available for those without a ride. For more information, call 647-3116.
Indoor sale
NORWAY – The Alpha and Omega Thrift Shop will hold an indoor yard sale from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday, March 28 and 29.
Friday there will be free coffee and doughnuts from 10 a.m. to noon, and Saturday there will be free hot dogs and soda from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Some tables of merchandise will be 50 percent off.
The thrift shop is located on the lower level of the Norway/Paris Solid Waste Facility, 39 Brown St.

Garden club
BUCKFIELD – The nearly formed Buckfield Garden Club will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 25, at the Buckfield Municipal Building. Cindy Tibbets of Hummingbird Farm will be the speaker. Everyone is welcome.
New additions
WOODSTOCK – The Woodstock Historical Society Museum has received several donations despite the fact that two meetings were called off due to bad weather.
Among the donations were a necklace, a first edition book, a psychology text and a work by literary critic Malcolm Cowley. The books will expand the society’s research library.
