DIXFIELD – Members of the Dirigo High School Beautification Committee announced the development of several school decorative items at a recent Student of the Month assembly.

New plants/trees have been added to the school’s hallways, and two new benches, constructed by three students, were recently placed in the Student Community Center hallway.

Two designs of wall decorative banners and three designs of cafe/diner booths for the school cafeteria were announced and installation will begin soon.

Special recognition was given to the Beautification Committee members who worked with other students in the design, construction and placement of the new items: Kirstin Blood, Rebecca Garcia, Rachel Child and Nic Crutchfield.
