PORTLAND – The University of Southern Maine’s Evenings at Abromson series will continue Thursday, March 27, with a comedy show presented by the Maine Hysterical Society.

Three veteran comedians will focus on Maine characters, performing original songs and juggling, while taking stabs at life in Maine. They will present wacky tales and tunes, including an audition sketch titled “Bean Supper in Maine.”

The trio includes Randy Junkins, a teacher of master classes at the Juilliard School of Drama in New York City; Barney Martin, a Maine television commercial actor; and Steve Underwood, founder of Good Theater Productions at the St. Lawrence Arts Center.

The show will begin at 7 p.m. in the Abromson Community Education Center.

Tickets, $15, can be purchased online at www.usm.maine.edu/cce; by calling 780-5900 and at the door.
