DIXFIELD – Adam Law of Dixfield, a senior at Dirigo High School, has been selected to receive the 2008 Principal’s Award, Principal Daniel Hart has announced. The award, sponsored by the Maine Principals’ Association, is given in recognition of a high school senior’s academic achievement and citizenship.
Hart said throughout his years at Dirigo High School, Law has distinguished himself in the classroom: as a National Honor Society student, as a leader in the school, as a class officer and school ambassador, and in the community, with varied and quality service projects and recreational activities.
Hart noted in making the award, “Adam very much deserves this recognition for his outstanding academic achievements, student athlete career and quality and quantity of service to his class, school and community.”
Law, Hart and other award winners and their principals will attend an honors luncheon at the Spectacular Event Center in Bangor on Saturday, April 5.
