GREENE – Joshua Rose was installed youth pastor in a service on Jan. 27 at the Greene Baptist Church.

This is the first time in the 215-year history of the church that a youth pastor has been installed. There have been many youth leaders, but Rose is the first youth pastor.

Rose attended Liberty University and has worked with youth of all ages at Christian summer camps and inner-city programs as well as leading youth events.

Rose’s wife, Jesse (Creamer) Rose, works with him in his ministry. He said they are committed to teach and enable the youth to establish and developed a strong relationship with Christ. The couple lives in Litchfield and are expecting their first child this year.
