LEWISTON – The Lewiston Auburn Youth Cheering League presented $1,500 to the Maine Children’s Cancer Program during the Vacation Classic on Feb. 23. The annual cheering competition took place at Lewiston High School and featured 38 youth teams.

Cheerleaders Taylor Pratt and Adeena Adams presented the check to MCCP representatives Jenna Doucette and Kathy MacDonald.

Doucette, a leukemia survivor, and MacDonald, a volunteer coordinator, are members of the Lewiston-Auburn Fundraising Committee for the Maine Children’s Cancer program.
