NORWAY – Trophies and cash prizes have been awarded to the fishermen who participated in the annual fishing derby on Feb. 23 and 24.

On hand for a potluck supper at the March 20 meeting of the Norway-Paris Fish and Game Association were winners Chance Welch, Jamie Pike, Lindsey Day, Logan Day, Denali Barker and Greg Martin.

Also receiving prizes but unable to attend were Mike Perkins and Charles Harmon.

Following the supper and awards, a meeting was held. The club is building a new club house at the shooting range on Route 117 and plans improvements to the range itself.

The club meets every third Thursday at the Little Red Schoolhouse on Route 118 at Norway Lake and welcomes new members, visitors and donations of time, materials and money.

The club’s current fund raiser is a gun raffle. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased from club members or by calling Fern at 998-4240 or Jim at 743-8330. The winners will be drawn at the fall shoots in September.
