FARMINGTON – Traffic was slowed on Wilton Road on Thursday for an 8:54 a.m. crash in front of Touch of Class.

Police officer William Cook came upon the scene during his normal patrol.

Andrea Brann, 46, of New Sharon was traveling west in the travel lane when Vanessa Gould, 50, of Avon pulled out into the road from Touch of Class. Her vehicle and Brann’s collided.

Gould was taken to Franklin Memorial Hospital by NorthStar Ambulance. A hospital representative later said she was treated and released.

Two passengers were in Brann’s car, her daughter, Renee Brann, and her infant son, Dominic. All three were checked by ambulance personnel at the scene but were not transported.

Both vehicles had extensive damage, said Cook, but an estimate of damage was not available.

Farmington Towing hauled off Brann’s vehicle, while Main Street Service took Gould’s, he said.

Farmington police were assisted by Farmington Rescue.
