GRAY – The Fiddlehead Center will hold live and silent auctions Saturday, April 12, in support of local educational offerings. The auction will begin at 7 p.m. at the center’s 25 Shaker Road location.

Doors will open at 6 p.m. There will be live entertainment, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.

Drawing from the Fiddlehead Center’s programs, the theme of the auction is “Palette,” with a number of arts and cultural items to be put up for bid. Examples include over-night accommodations in locations ranging from Boothbay Harbor to Italy, original artwork and tickets to cultural events.

For tickets, information or to make a donation for the auction, call 657-2244 or log on to Check the Web site for postings of live and silent auction items.

Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 at the door.
