LEWISTON – There will be cats galore – including the No. 1 cat internationally – at the Lewiston Armory Friday, Saturday and Sunday, April 11-13.

The Nauticats Cat Show, put on by the International Cat Association, will feature unusual breeds of cats, including the Kurilean Bobtail and the Minskin.

There will be 22 rings of competition, including a household pet contest. International judges will come from South America, Japan and Canada as well as the United States.

There will be exhibitors from as far as England as well as British Columbia and Mexico.

Show hours are from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday; from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Admission is $5 for adults, $4 for seniors and students; children under 13 admitted free. Attendees will get $1 off with a donation of cat food. The armory is at 65 Central Ave.
