Lodge to install

RUMFORD – Installation of officers for Sons of Italy Lodge 467 will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 20, at the lodge. All members are encouraged to attend.

Briggs to speak

MEXICO – The Mexico Historical Society will meet at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, with a potluck supper followed by a meeting in the Calvin Lyons Meeting Room at the lower level of the Town Hall. Speaker will be member and Rep. Sheryl Briggs.

WOWS dinner

RUMFORD – Widows or Widowers Sharing will attend an anniversary dinner at noon Thursday, April 24, at River Valley Grill.

Evelyn Sharron, who started WOWS, will be 91 in June. She now lives in Brewer.

Birthday supper

ANDOVER – The First Congregational Church of Andover will hold its annual birthday supper at 5 p.m. Saturday, April 26, at the Christian Education Building, Elm Street.

Roast pork with all the fixings will be served. Dessert will be decorated birthday cakes representing each month of the year. Cost is $7 for adults; $4 for children under 12. The public is invited. Call 392-1921 for more information.
