AUBURN – The Auburn-Lewiston YMCA Hoopsters program concluded its season with Androscoggin Title winning the final game, 28-18, over Morrison and Sylvester.
Leading the way for Androscoggin were Austin Brown with 10 points and Brady Downing with eight points. Oliver Hall, Bobby Tremaine, Ryan Lachance, Ella Henry and Dan Milks each added two points.
Rosalie White played great defense during the game, while Joel Stubbs did an excellent job dribbling the ball.
Topping Morrison were Ethan Brown with six points and Storm Jipson and Teagan Galway with four points each. Jaden Legare and Julia Milks added two points apiece.
Brendan Whitman and Olivia Ouellette did stellar work passing the ball. Victoria Copland, Daniel Nalley, Anson Jipson-Perry and Giles Paradie all played splendid defense.
Every child worked hard during the six-week program and improved a great deal. Special thanks go out to volunteers Kevin Varney, Steve Milks, Jackson White and Robinson Copland, as well the many scorekeepers.
