Keds is offering shoe-lovers some funky wedges and ballet flats this season. With new patterns and unique designs in the same comfortable and durable canvas, the iconic shoe company has stepped up its style level this season.

The Kedette Wedges are flirty in plaid and floral patterns with jaunty bow accents, sneaker influences and Mary Jane straps. The green and white plaid sneaker style wedge, however, looks like it would really only be appropriate at a golf club. The Sailloft Wedges have a smaller rise and thick diagonal stripes with off-center bows. The Berry Patch Wedges offer girly cherry, lemon and watermelon prints. To really make a statement (good or bad), the Nanette Lepore Wedges are chunky high-wedge sneaker hybrids in color combinations like electric yellow flowers on a medium gray background with hot pink laces.

For a more practical option, Keds also has the Hampton Sport and Champion collections. Not as delicate, the flat styles offer more foot coverage (good for running around). But, these collections don’t sacrifice fashion for function since they still come in interesting polka dot and pinstripe patterns. The Champion Chatham Strap Mini has a preppy feminine feel in yellow with a navy inside and a double button strap across the front.
