DOVER, N.H. (AP) – Dover police are still looking for a man who walked out of a courtroom when he discovered Maine police were on the way to take him into custody.
Twenty-eight-year-old Joseph Danisinka-Washburn fled in a white minivan Thursday afternoon.
Strafford County Sheriff’s Captain Joseph DiGregorio says Danisinka-Washburn was not in custody when he attended his hearing. He says when Danisinka-Washburn learned that Maine officers were coming for him, with a warrant, he told his lawyer he would be right back, walked out of the courtroom and never returned.
Maine authorities are accusing Danisinka-Washburn of violating parole from robbery and theft convictions.
