AUBURN – The Edward Little senior class will premiere the original play “It’s Not Oregano” at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, May 9-10, at Community Little Theater’s Great Falls Performing Arts Center.

Over the past two months, students have collaborated with playwright/director Brian Flynn to write and produce an original full-length comedy script. A corps of student writers led by Nate Titus worked with Flynn to conceive the theme, setting and plot, and worked with the cast of 30. Five weeks into the process, the play moved into production and is now ready to be performed live.

“It’s Not Oregano” is set in the present at a local high school and follows the lead character through the last week of his senior year – when he experiences the worst five days of his life.

Featured actors are Joe Griswold as Marvin Noonan, Daisy Grondin as Venus, Jenn Dubois as Mrs. Viche and Woody Mawhinney as Mr. Price.

Tickets are $5 for general admission, $3 for students. The performing arts center is on Academy Street.
