WILTON – The Tyngtown Club will hold its annual spring plant sale from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday, May 17, at the Academy Hill School cafeteria.
Members of the club will dig and pot hundreds of perennials, including day lilies, iris and Shasta daisies for the sale. Some members will donate flowering shrubs while others will have potted herbs. There will also be some exotic indoor plants. Large geraniums have been donated for the sale also.
A few members have started seedlings. There will also be plants from a local nursery.
All proceeds will be used to support the Wilton Free Public Library and the Wilton Early Childhood Center.
A special feature will be the bake sale. Muffins and coffee cake will be available with coffee and there will be homemade pies and breads.
