AUBURN – Dillingham and Son launched the Auburn Suburban Little League Minor division season with a pair of wins in the past week.
After Mayor John Jenkins threw out the ceremonial first pitch, Dillingham dropped Hammond Lumber, 5-3, on opening day. Bryce Ledger and Benjamin Feldman collected three hits each for the winners. Brady Gosselin went 1-for-2 for Hammond.
Dillingham and Son cruised past Enefco, 11-0, after breaking the game wide open in the third inning. Sam Rideout and Joseph Leavitt each were 3-for-3. For Enefco, Ben Corsey and Curtis Ouellette both went 1-for-2.
