LEWISTON – The Eiffel Tower, Sydney Opera House, Bridge of Sighs and other international sights and landmarks are on display at Willy Beans Café and Bistro, courtesy of photographer and world traveler Dean Sisco.

His photos will be up on the Art & Java wall at the Lincoln Street coffeehouse, which offers international coffee choices, through May 18.

A native of Westerly, R.I., Sisco recently relocated to Lewiston last year to work at the Androscoggin Bank Colisee as business manager. Previously, he traveled the globe for six years with Feld Entertainment, producers of “Disney on Ice,” “Disney Live!” and the Ringling Brothers Barnum & Bailey Circus.

“I feel very fortunate to have been able to have a career where I was traveling the world and experiencing different cultures, and seeing so many visual masterpieces,” said Sisco. His travels brought him to Southeast Asia, Australia, New Zealand, South America and across Europe.

“I’ve waited hours to get the picture I wanted, and other times it instantly appears in front of me. Everyone is capable of great photos, and my tricks are simple: lots of patience, lots of film (I am currently dragging my feet to switch to digital), and lots of imagination,” he added.

L/A Arts works with Willy Beans to display artwork done by local artists. Pieces are available for purchase through L/A Arts and can be viewed online at www.laarts.org. For more information, call 782-7228.
