AUGUSTA – The Concerts at Jewett Series, put on by the University of Maine at Augusta College of Arts and Humanities and UMA Senior College, will feature the Nordica Trio Sunday, May 18, at Jewett Hall Auditorium.

There will be a pre-concert talk at 1 p.m., with the performance to begin at 2 p.m.

Making up the trio are Cheryl Tschanz, piano; Karen Beacham, clarinet; and Graybert Beacham, violin or viola.

The Nordica Trio made its debut during the 1994-’95 season and was enthusiastically received by audiences across Maine. It has since performed extensively throughout the United States and abroad.

Sunday’s program features Sonata for Clarinet and Piano in E-flat by Saint-Saens, Trio in E-flat For Piano, Clarinet and Viola by Mozart, and Double Concerto for Clarinet and Viola by Bruch.
